2 — DISCUSSION RE. CHANGE TO HOME PAGE:
Right now, the Livestream button on Home page takes them to the Livestream Tickets page with Eventcombo ad. But I think EventCombo wants us to use their b”REGISTER NOW” button on the Home page. Clicking on their button would take users directly to the Eventcombo purchase page (eliminating the extra step of landing on the Livestream Tickets page). Generally speaking, it’s a good idea to eliminate an extra step when you want people to take an action online.
However, their button is pretty anonymous. See below — it says REGISTER NOW, but doesn’t say anything about livestream or performance. So if we add it (and remove the LIVESTREAM button), we would need to include some language explaining that they are registering for the Livestream.
If you want to comply with EC’s request, let’s talk about how to do that.
• Maybe we could move the ___ logo to another location (like the Footer).

I think the best bet is to do what they suggest and include this on Home. (Otherwise, we could keep our Livestream button and take them to the purchase tickets page, if you feel EC would be ok with that.)

The next time we have Alex make any changes, I’ll ask him to make the Footer wider so the menu fits on one line. It’s part of the template, and I don’t mess with that!
